White-browed Robin
Poecilodryas superciliosa 15-17 cm
The distinguishing features of this Robin are habitually raising and lowering its tail and droopping its wings. It actively hops through lower branches and vines, feeds on the ground and on the wing. It breeds in August—March and its nest is a low cup of loosely woven of fine vegetation. We found it colonising the two-year plantings in Mantaka. |
