6. Sour Plum (Munumba) Davidsonia pruriens
Leaf has distinctive serrated margins and is very hairy, especially on the back. No other Australian leaf form like this. The fruit is very tart, very fleshy and juicy, with a dark purple skin and crimson flesh. Fruit falling from June to December. Difficult to find as everything in the forest likes to eat them.
