Emerald Dove

Generally seen in pairs foraging on the ground for seeds or fruits in the rainforest or other wet woodland forests often near creeks. Nests are typical for pidgeons and doves, a shallow saucer of fine twigs hidden in dense live or dead foliage or epiphytic ferns a few metres off the ground.
