L. Coral berry Ardisea crenata
This weed is red berried and non-local and gradually shades out all other understorey plants. The plant produces masses of berries, many fall and germinate in the shade of the parent plant, producing clumps of plants which shade out all other seedlings. Birds carry the berry seed through the rainforest.
