Australasian figbird

Sphecotheres vieilotti 29 cm
A commonly heard and seen bird because of its flocking behaviour with up to 40 birds feeding together in fruiting trees, especially obvious on Alexander Palms. The female is olive brown with fawn and cream streaks below.
