The constitution under which Kuranda Envirocare was incorporated was derived from a model constitution prepared by the Queensland Government's Office of Fair Trading. Changes have been made over the years, notably to include a Gift Fund, and in 2007 a number of changes were made to incorporate new objects for the association, to revise issues to do with meeting procedures (encouraging concensus decision making), and to clarify aspects of the wording relating to the Gift Fund. These changes are to be approved by the Office of Fair Trading.
